The words that pop into mind when discussing Belgian Architect Nicolas Schubroek's work would be calm, natural, sophisticated STYLE!! Serious interior crushes going on over here, it is quite evident why this brilliant designer was named one of the 100 best interior designers in 2013 by French Magazine Architectural Digest.
Nicolas has been able to demonstrate his technical knowledge combined with his excellent detailing throughout projects in France, Spain and Belgium to name a few. With his considered approach his spaces sit beautifully within the physical environment they are in. We especially love the combination of the herringbone timber floors, muted colour palette and linen of course!
The dark cabinetry, framing and tapware combined with the light stone is a great touch, this look is sophisticated and timeless becoming more and more popular over the globe. Warmth is brought into these spaces with the contrast of timber, either in the flooring, or a well designed chair. Perfect balance between all the finishes used.
Nicolas's Style resonates with us as it translates well in so many different environments. The beach, city or country these spaces will fit right in. Do you have a designer that inspires you? We would love to know who, let us know below.
