'The Apartment St Kilda' is another little treasure to have a weekend away in by the lovely and talented Interior Stylist 'Lynda Gardener'. This new addition to Lynda's portfolio like all the others offers a very cool and eclectic mix of treasures in a charming building with great bones. Lynda has such a knack for layering up a combination of vintage and new pieces.
One of the stand out features of this gorgeous 1920's Art Deco Apartment are the distinct arched windows filling the apartment with bright natural light. They are just picture perfect!! Have to say we have always had a little soft spot for arched windows...
The lounge room has such a relaxed cosy feel about it, with the comfy linen couch, chunky knitted throw and lets face it we can never have enough scatters. Lynda as always has done such a great job curating a beautiful collection of artwork and vintage pieces as displayed here.
Now it wouldn't be too hard to stay in bed all day curled up with your fav book in this room. Texture is key in here, starting with the rustic painted out floors, lovely crocheted rug, wooden stump side table, french linens and top it off with the soft reindeer hide. Whats not to love... We can't forget the black rope light creating a stunning focal point.
How great is this graphic bathroom? That shower curtain is pretty special!! Works beautifully with the combination of black, white and grey square tiles. The timber stool with a touch of greenery just adds that little pop to break up the black and white. Next time you are looking for a character filled pad to have a mini city break in keep this little beauty in mind otherwise Lynda also does have a few to check out in the country as well as Fitzroy.
