We came across this amazing project via pinterest some time ago. It was love at first sight for me. This amazing design project is the work of Fernanda Marques Arquiteto Asociados, the spacious bungalow is located in São Paulo, Brazil. It is a brilliant example of creating a fantastic balance between the interiors and exteriors. The use of natural elements such as the rough stone walls, limestone floors, timber logs as well as the connection to the garden all just work!!
The Kitchen and Dining Area exude individuality, there is definitely no cookie cutter design here. The island bench itself is quite the statement piece looking as if a large organic boulder of stone is sitting on the edge of the cliff looking right at home with the outdoor spaces. The shape of the dining table perfectly compliments the island bench in the background.
A great sense of openess is achieved with all the natural light and by the use of the glazed walls and ceilings linking the outside in. It is this tapered wooden exterior, and serene ponds that had me at hello!!
There is some seriously beautiful buildings in the gorgeous Brazil, are you familiar with any you would like us to feature?
