I have always thought I have had somewhat a chair fetish. You can never have enough interesting quirky or well designed chairs in your spaces. However of late the design world has been quite spoilt with beautiful lighting options. Today we highlight the Copenhagen Light designed by the amazing Danish design studio 'Space Copenhagen' for the very tasteful design brand '&Tradition'. I'm sure we will highlight these two companies in more detail down the track.
Old gas lamps that would line up the Copenhagen Piers were referenced for the design of the 'Copenhagen Light'. They do give a real industrial feel, however with the matte finish, available colours and shape they do also have a softness about them, making them quite versatile.
The pendants are available in three sizes and the five colours pictured above. The available colour palette really opens itself up to so many possibilities. They could work well hanging on either side of the bed, above the kitchen bench, over the dining table, the options are endless.
As you can see in both these images the pendant makes quite the visual impact with its sculptural qualities, what makes it even more enticing is the considered design behind the function of this beautiful piece as well. Do you have any special pieces in your space that make a beautiful impact like these pendants? We would love to hear about them, feel free to send us some info & images at firstname.lastname@example.org
